Who the hell is Nova Rex? A hair metal band from Florida from my causal investigation.
Why am I looking?
There is announcement of a new video called "Nova Rex: It Aint Easy Being Cheesy", a hair metal documentary. Anyone hear of Spinal Tap?
Well it seems similar in ways with snippets of shows and cute answers. The 80s hair band were plentiful so maybe they really did exist. I used to be very close with a very popular Canadian hair metal band (hey they won a Juno!) and was witness to and heard the most repulsive stories of pirate like antics.
I should actually write a book of some of the things I've seen. Nova Rex seems like a cross between Aldo Nova and T Rex or something but whatever they were they are no more. Their myspace has been around since 2007 and they have under a hundred 'friends', yeah something seems off.
Regardless the trailer for this dvd seems fun enough. "Behind the scenes' view into the world of rock and roll are always fun and interesting and allot safer than living it. This clip is pretty cool. I'd check it out for free if only to figure them out
