After Iman’s lukewarm review of Paul Simon’s show at the Beacon theater and Helen’s post about his appearance on the SNL, I may be accused to 'love' him again a little bit too much… sure he is getting old, sure his voice is not what it was, but what he did last May 7th in Toronto is pretty awesome.
Someone in the crowd, Rayna Ford, called out for him to play ‘Duncan’, yelling she learned to play guitar on the song. Nice isn’t it? But wait, Paul invited her on stage, handed her one of his guitars and asked her to play the song! Which she did, with the help of the full band and… she couldn’t believe it.
Of course, someone captured the moment in film, it’s worth watching it. Good for her!
