I rarely admit when I’m wrong. Why should I? Well I’m going to straight up say I hated all that “Juicebox” crap The Strokes did. Saw their mugs too many times in the tabloids and labeled them poser trash and got on with my life.
Really, The Libertines and The Strokes entered my life about the same time. The Strokes were cuter but they didn’t have “The Boys In The Band”.
Its been along time. The Libertines are perpetual reunion detox and The Strokes……….
will be on Saturday Night Live tomorrow with Miley “gimme a hit, Daddy” Cyrus!!!!
I L-O-V-E, the new song Undercover of Darkness and only listened to it cuz Iman posted it yesterday on his largely negative review (“The living breathing embodiment of running in place”). Well, he was wrong so here is a second chance .
I made a huge mistake writing this band off as garbage. I’m looking forward to going back and re listening to the songs I hated. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for it at the time, maybe I let their public image hinder my judgement.
Regardless- GREAT song, stoked for tomorrow night cuz FINALLY there’s a band that doesn’t suck!
