– Southern Hospitality – Ludacris – So crude that if it wasn’t so great you’d be right to wonder what the hell is his problem? I saw Ludacris open for Outkast back when this was first released and it brought the house down. Plus Pharrell Williams, the one man hook factory, is all over it. Finally, any song that has you singing along to a request you rub Ludacriss’ balls can’t be all bad – A
– Kill Your Sons – Tommy Keene – he has been encoring with this terrific version, the guitar solo is the sort of thing that is missing on the new album – A

– The Killing Floor – Dan Whitley – A slow burn blues song making sweet love to you in a desperate land… or is it? “-This song is about being in Saint Vincent’s suicide ward (which was one whole floor), I was 17, there was a Nun/patient who went berserk and smashed her acoustic guitar, there were people coming back from Electroshock Treatments seemingly lobotomized and me getting lots of blow jobs in my room by the female folk.” B+
– Love Myself – Hailee Seinfeld – Self love goes viral – C+
– All The Rage Back Home (Panda Bear remix) – Nice meeting of sensibilities builds slowly and then explodes as a trap track- B+
