– The Old College Try – Garfunkel And Oates – This is a very good and very funny song about a girl in college experimenting in lesbianism and finding cunnilingus the point of thanks but yuck. “When I looked a vagina in the eye I beat an ungrateful but hasty retreat… ” funny stuff  – B+

– I Was Doing Fine (Then A Few People Died) – Craig Finn – Gorgeous track, maybe the best on the album: when this man hits it right, he is one of the last great rockers – A

– Gave Me Something – Jess Glynne – Average to good popper off the new one – B

– Life Like This – Kurt Vile – Awful song, this guy is way beyond overrated, “roll with the punches”? This twit wouldn’t know a punch if it sat on his head  – C-

– Intro Noirwave – Petite Noir – wonderful beat squirrels this instrumental into the album, I think I prefer the sound without voice – A-

– Everything Is You –  empress Of – Like a lo fi SIA without the mannerisms – A-

– R.I.P. – Guilty Simpson – Line of the week? “The bigger the yap, the bigger the slap” – A-

– You Can’t Stop Me – Brett Eldridge – I hate Thomas Rhett more than you do, but he doesn’t shame himself on this fine country pop dance track – B+

– Belly Of The Beast – The Libertines – I’m trying, but I can’t find anything to support. I guess this ain’t bad, the verses are catchy, maybe if I listen more but for right now, it is a pleasant mediocrity… and since they won’t even get into the States let alone tour it, why worry? – C+

– Perth – Beirut – Is this their pop move? – B
