Comment: At first look, this isn’t much but at second look there are some real gems waiting for you on Friday (hopefully, I mean, anticipated). The return of bad boys the Fratellis could go either way but one of the ways it could go is first rate “Chelsea Dagger” Like ravers. Bon Jovi and Rob Thomas are risible in the extreme, and what I’ve heard from each are terrible but I am kinda anticipating how much I can dis them, Ghosts, Jordin -should be good enough. But everything I’ve heard by Drinks (aka Cate Le Bon and Tim Presley) -a sort of UK DIY post-punk bedsit experimental duo make it my pick for the week. Cate Le Bon is a Florence Henderson without the pretension and while she is underselling those pipes here, “Eighteen Teenage Revenge Pair” is something else again.
