Rihanna-releases-teaser-of-American-Oxygen-video

– American Oxygen – Rihanna – I have this theory where Rihanna and Drake are the same person, they are both 20 something grumpie pains in the neck who can’t stop whinging how good they have it, in an irritating monotone. Do I exaggerate? Sure, some of the time – B

– Honey, I’m Good – Andy Grammer – Giving monogamy a bad name, this hand clapping, foot stomping faux country singalong is fun but not much fun  – C+

– Hold My Hand – Jess Glynn – Already top of the pops in the UK, I was arguing with somebody about how much better UK Pop is to UK rock… here is exhibit # 1 – A-

– See You Again – Wiz Khalifa –  Do I doubt his sincerity -not at all, I assume he is insincere – C+

– Want To Want me – Jason DeRulo – Falsetto singing, good dance track… catchier than it should be – B

– Jealous – Nick Jonas – Sure it is generic and sure he still gets by on his pretty face, but no worse than anything else – B-

– Dear Future Husband – Meghan Trainor – The complaint I’ve been hearing is, you know, who wants to marry this bitch? I don’t see why a wife shouldn’t be trated like a lady, myself…  … – A

– Headlights – Robin Schultz (feat Ilsey) – This is the acceptable sound of modern pop, a sweet, well produced MOR ballad – A-

– I Really Like You – Carly Rae Jepsen – Wow, is there anything sadder that a missed pop move? – C-

– Still Want You – Brandon Flowers – If this sells, it is a great song. Born to climb the charts and sticky as hell. If it doesn’t it will sound a lot worse fast – B-
