St. Patrick’s Day Without the Pogues And Black 47? How About Larry Kirwan?

77-atlg

Last year I made a major mistake… I forgot to get tickets for Black 47’s farewell concert at BB King’s and I lived to regret it when I couldn’t get on the press list either, thereby missing the finishing end of the second Greatest Irish rock band ever.

Yup, they’re gone, but lead singer and songwriter Larry Kirwan sure ain’t and he is playing the Cutting Room on St. Patrick’s Day…

Have a great St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!

It sounds like a plan to me and I would be shocked if we don’t get a big dollop of Black 47’s back catalog, I mean Larry wrote em, why wouldn’t he play them? Which means that while, no, it isn’t the great Irish rockers, it is about as close as you are gonna get. So get there.
