– All Day – Kanye West – Here we go, better than “Wolves” and “Only One”, this is a piece of ego inflation but it is more than that, as his Brit Awards performance proved, it was also a call to arms for disencfranchised and ignore, plus that sample sounded like it was busting a guy and the whistling at the end? Paul McCartney – A
– Big Decisions – My Morning Jacket – They’re back and has it been really five years? Maybe it took em all that time to recover after the dreadful Circuital. This sounds like a pastoral pop rocker which could go off in a fit if it wanted to but doesn’t – B+
- Rebel Heart – Madonna – After swearing I’d never see her again, this song among others, absolutely changed my mindset – A
– Once In A Lifetime – Flo Rida – This guy has the best pop instincts in the business, a very thorough and exciting sweet and smart pop move, just terrific – A-
– Champagne – Kat Edmonson – It is 1958 all over again – B+
– Addicted – Madonna – The final song off her new album and it is as great as you can imagine, “i don’t know what it is but I’m attracted to the dark…” – A-
– Supafly – Texas – A great little dance track, catchy as hell – B+
– Wake up call – Maroon 5 – He should have never killed him – B+
– Maybe That’s What It Takes – Alex Parks – Mainstream UK pop, but a nice voice and the song catches up with you – B
– Autotune Baby – Madonna – Starts as a very funny joke and ends as a great sample – A-
