5 – Spin The Bottle – Juliana Hatfield – her greatest moment finds Juliana picking up a B Movie actor (“it isn’t all his fault, you can’t control it all”) and taking him to a party – A+
6 – Lady Friend – Chance The Rapper – A truly original concept, platonic love as smooth jazz hip hop – A
7 – The Darker The Berry – Kendrick Lamar – This is the one where I forgive him his lousy opening sets for Kanye, tip my hat and hail him quite possibly the best rapper in the business – A
8 – Go Out – Blur – I LOVE THIS SONG, if you haven’t heard it, this is a classic Blur with a verse that drones but a hook that hooks you hard. Masterful – A
9 Black Lake – Bjork – Two months after the break up, a ten minute masterpiece of scorn and loss, her best song since forever – A
10 – SNL At 40 – Kanye West – Listening to it for the umptenth time, more power to Vic as well – A
