This is an extremely intriguing story, it has been reported by TMZ, the Huffington Post and many other medias that Creed singer Scott Stapp believes he is a CIA agent whose task is to kill President Obama! His estranged wife Jaclyn Stapp and her sister called 911 after Stapp fled home shirtless on a bike with a backpack full of tools and about 400-600 pages of documents he had found online:
‘He thinks he’s part of the CIA. He thinks they’re trying to kill him, and he has a bunch of paperwork in his backpack that he’s a CIA agent and he supposed to assassinate Obama,’ she told in the call.
Is it another case of drug binge turned bad, really bad? May be no because one of the women said ‘he is off of the drugs’… but ‘he’s going crazy’. Apparently Stapp has been in and out of mental health facilities, completing at least eight or 10 stints.
However, things are not as simple as they first seem: The Creed frontman also called 911, claiming that ‘his wife stole his truck, forcing him to use the bike’, and he told the police that she had stolen $6 million. Meanwhile the police found that he was not unstable enough to be placed in a psych hold. So what’s going on?
Was all this just a domestic dispute? Jaclyn is seeking a divorce, she has claimed the husband is turning crazy that he has threatened to kill himself and his AA sponsor, harm his family, and that he was hearing voices with visions of people on fire. Jaclyn’s divorce papers alleged the guy had been ‘doing so much amphetamines, crystal meth and steroids that he has become a paranoid shell who has threatened to kill himself and harm his family’… didn’t she just say in the call he was clean? On a Facebook post that has now disappeared, Stapp claimed to be sober and to ‘let God control everything from here on’, while their son has questioned the sobriety of his father…
This story is a total mess, I have no idea of what’s going on, but Fox news is making a big deal of all this insanity. Effectively, it has all the ingredients they are looking for, a Christian rock band, a domestic fight, drug addiction, money, paranoia, a conspiracy against Obama… they are going to stretch this for months!
