1. Celebrate – Pitbull – Inspired use of Rare Earth’s “I Just Want To Celebrate” anchors this terrific horns aplenty party track off the soundtrack to the latest Madagascar movie. The sight of 100s of penguins tap dancing to this track will leave you… well, it will probably leave you queasy but the track is still a goodie – B+

2. Act My Age – One Direction – They imagine the future and find it not unpleasant – B+

3. Taming The Tiger – Joni Mitchell – Her last masterpiece is hushed glory and melody -here kitty kitty – A+

4. Moon AT The window – Joni Mitchell – Off her fabulous Wild Things Run Free, an album I remember being mostly alone in obsessing over – B+

5. Two Grey Rooms – Joni Mitchell – Piano based gay love story with lush strings and paino – A

6. All Is Fair In Love And Brostep – Skrillex – Powers you into oiter space – B+

7. Every Other Freckle – alt-j – If this is the exception, it is such a great song it is a good exception to their electronic sound shifters – A

8. Editing Floor Blues – Yusuf/Cat – I guess unable to stick with a name, he has chosen both. This is the exception on his disappointing blues album – B+

9. Spirit On The Water – Bob Dylan – Gorgeous song with a kick in the ush at the end – A

10. Just Snap Your Fingers – Marshall Crenshaw – The best song off the last album, “until the ultimate end”? remind me to steal that – A
