Selling Up With Wolf Gang
Selling Up With Wolf Gang

Doors – Yusuf/Cat Stevens – Yeah, yeah, god good god, got it – C

Alveron – Wolf Gang – The album made not much of an impression at all but this is a piano plentiful coda to an album that didn’t reach these heights. Sounding more folk than indie, it is a fine track – B+

We Will Always Be A Band -Will Dailey – As soon as they start with the handclaps you just know they want us to join in – C+

Be Lucky – The who – Jeez, Daltrey shoulda turned it down – C

Sometimes I Wished I Could Fall Asleep – The Twilight Sad – Nic production, the piano reverberates like it has escaped from a Sunday Service but forgotten to bring a melody – B+

Failure – The Ting Tings – A generic pop tronic bouncer – B-

Watch Your Back – Sunset Sons – Blues track with a head of steam, not unJack whiteish – B

Navajo Rugs – Stalley – wildly original alt hip hop though mainstream… call it the de La Soul influence – B

Speakers – Sam Hunt – Country songwriter pro performing powerful what sounds like borderline indie country – B+

Angel Duster – Run The Jewels – A touch too new R&B to me, mixed with RZA – B-

Lonely (But Not Alone) – Rob Cantor – Are you joking me? Pretty but I like the funny stuff – B

Grave Digger – Rancid – Pleasant little singalong – C+

Every Note – Mystery Skull – Disappointing conclusion to a strong album – B-

Till The End – Logic – Great backing track  is that kids singing? – B

Hope – Haerts – Just because you call a song hope doesn’t mean you have to over do it, still this is powerful stuff  – B

Seafarer – French For Rabbits – I guess they’re lapining it up – B

It’s True, It’s You – Francisco The Man – It seems to last songs are either slow ballads, loud anthems or lullaby, this is a kinda sonic mood song – B

Crave You – Flight Facilities – Giselle nails this knock EDM pop song – B+

A Day In The Life – The Flaming Lips – I’d love to turn them off – D+

Hurricane – Dillon Francis – Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night… yeah, you should be lucky – C

Forest City – Daniel Lanois – I think I got it wrong, it is an ambient album of glorious sounds and this is really good, I missed the boat – B+

Jesus, This Is You – Chris Tomlin – This is a good song of praise – B+

Crown Of Thorns – Black Veil Brides – In which BVB conclude their morphing into a mainstream metal band – B
