1. Fetish – Scott Walker, Sunn o ))) – This sounds like the climax to a high drama opera, a German composer, played backwards with the vocals pitched even wilder than ever before and the sound modulating between drone and droner with Bernard Hermann brought back from the dead. An acquired taste? Sure, but superbly different even if you hate it – A-

2. Broken Ones – Jacqui Lee – Modern torch from a the Voice runner up – C

3. Is It All Over My face And Tower Of Meaning – Devon Hynes – Great to hear Arthur Russell, the late composer, remembered. This is part of the wonderful Red + Hot tribute album I haven’t written much about but plan to.

4. Stranger People – Oprah – A good song but doesn’t capture this moody beauty of a band on stage – B+

5. Coney Island – Tomas Doncker Band – Lovely soulful recherchez de Coney Island – A-

6. Really – The Game – Lessee here, 2 Chainz AND Yo Gotti nake appearances so what do you think? Tough minded bloody raw metal gangsta rap – B+

7. I’ve Got Sixpence – Billy Cotton And His Band – A Scouting song though it sure sounds like a army recruitment number to me – A

8. Introspective Trip – Soviet Soviet – Part of the Pizarro, Italy scene, this is a fuzzy masterpiece – A

9. Into The Mystic Take 11 – Van Morrison – Interesting, the vocal is very restrained, it is so well restrained! – A

10. Totem – Be Forest – Lovely instrumental also from Italy – A-
