Get The Led Out
Get The Led Out

1. Rainbow – Robert Plant – Why does all his solo stuff sound like Led Zep covering rockabilly? I mean, I thought the whole point was he didn’t wanna sound like Led Zep, and I guess I am thinking more Plant-Page than even Zep, still, we have been here before and his refusal to work with Page seems like dissemblance – B

2. Limbo Limbo Limbo – Jheko Aiko – a little on the lame side but she wasn’t that great with Drake last year either – C+

3. The Reaper – Clinton Sparks, Snoop Dogg – This sounds like typical EDM, MOR pop waiting on a rapper – B-

4. Just Like That – Colbie Caillat – Did she grow up or something? This is kinda moldy – C+

5. Show You Off Tonight – Lee Brice – This is a real pleasant sugar country rocker – B+

6. Push It – Delta Spirit – Americana meets alt rock, that good and also that bad – B-

7. Out To Sea – Lera Lynn – There is a cottage industry in women who seem to be made of the same melancholy cloth as Lana Del Rey, Lera is one of them and then she is more of them – B+

8. My Kind Of Man – Vance Joy – There are so many competent singer songwriters around nowadays that somebody has to do something to standout, what Vance does is sing excellent songs very very well – A-

9. Forgive & Forget – The Kooks – Another piece of anemic rock with strong vocals – B-

10. Am I Safe – Ryan Adams – Hmmm, not bad I guess but not very special either – B
