Buzzcocks During Their Forty Year Awkward Stage
Buzzcocks During Their Forty Year Awkward Stage

My love battery wants to charge you…I haven’t seen the Buzzcocks on stage in the better part of thirty years though I remember catching em at the Palladium on the Different Kind Of Tension tour, the Fall opened if memory serves… Man, they were great. Titus Andronicus are opening, I haven’t seen them in a couple of years after catching em around once a month at the turn of he decade. Saturday at Webster Hall.

Monday – Interpol – Bowery Ballroom – These Joy division wannabes all grown up don’t do it for me but their new single “Ancient ways” is so good, I’ve gotta wonder if I might be, gulp, wrong?

Thursday – Bleacher – Studio At Webster Hall – Maybe Jack Antonoff only has “Rollercoaster” in him, right? well that’s one more “Rollercoaster” thank any one else has.

Friday – Total Slacker – MHOW – Sure, I’ve only seen him live once but they were totally awesome.

Saturday – Fucked – Irving Plaza – Their last album didn’t happen and really, they are becoming a little one trick pony ish. Still, it is a pretty neat  trick, bowels of hell vocals on top of classic rock.

Saturday – Eddie Palmieri – S.O.B.’s – The Salsa King, if you’ve never seen him you better get round to it.
