Recorded: This was the week of FKA twigs debut album, which had the music critic world on its knees to the former dancer and current sound of desire as baffling tell off of sound and vision. This debut album, LP 1, is so strong they might as well just give her the Grammy for best new artist right now and have done with it.
Live: Eminem And Rihanna came to Metlife, they saw and Em proved he can rock a Stadium and Ree proved she could actually perform live.
Sports: Is it over? After losing four games in a row, the Yanks won their last two but is it enough??? 4 games out of the wild card though with 44 games to go, they better start winning or the captain ain’t going to make it to October in his last season. Hal wouldn’t confirm Cashman will be back next year.
Movies: Can I just say there is a steady and constant coarsening of teen movies from “Harry Potter” to “Twilight” to “Hunger Games” to this weeks model, the dreadful “The Giver”.
