I can’t predict Tuesday’s concert, the only one I have seen on this tour was the Itunes film and it was terrible, but maybe this will come theretofore, maybe this will work. I definitely plan to find out Tuesday. I’ve seen her three times, freat once, lousy once, okay once… let’s see what we get at Madison Square Garden.

Tuesday – Angel Olsen – MHOW – Her new album is terrific and if I wasn’t at Lady Gaga I would certainly be there.

Tuesday – Eddie Izzard – Beacon Theater – One of the UK’s great comedians, the king of the meandering story that returns to the punchline and how… but he can go on a bit.

Thursday – Lily Allen – Her latest album isn’t great but it sure aint bad either and the one time I saw her live she was excellent.

Thursday – Tokyo Police Club – Webster Hall – I really love their new album Forcefield and they should crush it and how if they keep to the faster power punk pop stuff.

Thursday – Al Kooper – BB King’s – His 70th birthday celebration -the blues giant promises lots of guests, not that they’ll be needed.

Friday – Elbow – Webster Hall – With what well  be the best album of the year under their belt, jump on the opportunity to see the great band in a small club.

Saturday – Ghost BC – Best Buy -Steve Crawford’s KISSish bad boy faves reach nyc.

Sunday – Swans – Bowery Ballroom – Hard metallic sounds of prog rock usurped.
