The couple who tours together gets to sell 70,000 seats together goes the old adage. Or rather doesn’t go the old adage, and it doesn’t rhyme either,. But it sure expresses the sentiments swirling round the over baked Mr. and Mrs. Carter, whose outrageous proliferate life of excess has gone well past the point of unseemly and is nearing the area of let them eat cake, after the revolution son, and are still manufacturing the moolah on their upcoming tour round the Arenas of the US. The Metlife gig is July 11, a Friday (Warped Tour is the next day at Jones Beach) and if I can get a cheap cheap tix at $35 I’ll go but any more than that I am less keen. Please god, no movie.
