For the first time since 2009, the brothers Gallagher, the brains and the beauty, neither of which are entirely full of it any longer, are finally talking according to UK tabloid the Sun. According to an inside sauce (maybe tomato, maybe mayonnaise) “‘The mudslinging has stopped but it’s very much baby steps for the two as Noel wants to release his second solo record at the end of the year and tour that in 2015.’Really that leaves 2016 open for an Oasis comeback – it really doesn’t seem likely that it would be this year.”
Which means they will be missing the 20th anniversary of “Definitely Maybe” though the last thing I heard was they are reforming for Glastonbury and the fighting brothers in the Kinks might join em as well!
As for fighting brothers. I stopped speaking to my brother in 1983 and didn’t got back till last year, THIRTY YEARS LATER. With brothers, the wounds can be very deep. So I kind of sympathize with what the brothers are going through, it is tough to get past the hurt. It can take a life time. Money, however, well, the money Oasis could rake it in if they toured.
I’m all for it. I thought they were a little on the iffy stage on stage but on any given day they could really give it out.
