2. American Beauty – Bruce Springsteen – Hard rocking beauty roars to the end – B

3. Hickory Wind (feat Emmylou Harris) – The Seldom Scene – Not as good as Gram no, but the banjo is better – A-

4. Parallels – Eels – Moody and upset but catchy and oddly enjoyable – B

5. Rage The Night Away – Steve Aoki – This is an awesome rave by a very good DJ and only slows down for Waka Flocka Flame – B+

6. C Modal # 1 – Peter Stampfel – Some open C tuning improving for ya, like a banjo stampede – B+

7. Farewell Transmission – My Morning Jacket – Straighforward, even tempered cover with James in fine voice – A-

8. Waterfall – Fear Of Men – is this a new deal thing? A coupla seconds of quiet? – B-

9. Jerk Ribs – Kelis – Hot enough r&b dance track – B+

10. Sticky – Teen – Lovely soulful indie pop – B+
