Big Boi stopped by East Village Radio on Tuesday (can’t believe I missed this one! Literally right around the corner) for a special edition of Baller’s Eve during which he premiered a new remix of his song “Lookin’ 4 Ya,” a track originally planned for his recently released album Sir Lucious Left Foot… The Son of Chico Dusty.
It’s one of just two songs that feature Andre that were intended for the album and both were ultimately cut before release due to a Gordian knot of record label red tape. The song is sick, with a catchy beat and chorus and Big Boi and Andre at the tops of their games.
Big Boi was also interviewed by the guys at EVR, fielding questions about said previously mentioned red tape, what it was like being a pioneer of southern rap, and more.
