OK, maybe not. But the classic album Brain Salad Surgery is celebrating its 40th anniversary and let’s face it. You fucking love this album.
There is a lame school of thought that ELP sucked. This ‘prog rock’ scene seems so very dated now. Not unlike the Moody Blues, they get a lot of flack. Well I am here to tell you that this album (and the band for this matter kick ass)
The most known ‘Still…You Turn Me On” has the harpsichord of fun and the wahnka wahnka 70s sound that sealed it’s fate as a classic. OK, sure some of the album sucks. We need only to venture to ‘Benny The Bouncer’ for an instant migraine.

Yeah, see it was that hip jive talking that put this band on my forever cool list. Can we take a moment to discuss how fucking cool the album cover is? Yup.. album cover- I’m all retro tastic, man.
