Is there anything Kanye West doesn’t want? Money, fame, a famous girlfriend and a new baby,… I thought he had settled down with a big mansion in Bel Air and some gold toilet seats, but it seems the rapper has bigger ambitions. According to certain reports, probably all originating from the Daily Star, he now wants to buy Elvis Presley’s famous house for his girlfriend Kim.
Who would have thought that Kanye was a huge Elvis fan? And who would have thought Graceland was for sale?
According to the Daily Star, ‘there have been constant whispers that it’s due to go on the market, as long as it stays open to the public and as a place for Elvis fans to visit.’
‘Kanye is really excited about the possibility of owning it. He thinks it would be really cool if he, Kim and North West lived there, at least some of the time.’
Priscilla and Lisa Mary Presley own the Memphis property and they have fiercely protected the mansion as Elvis’ legacy, and resisted to the pressure to sell it so far. 600,000 fans visit the place every year to pay tribute to the iconic rock star, and I bet that the circus I saw when I visited it a long time ago, has exponentially amplified since. So I don’t see how Kanye and his family could live there with all this constant fan pilgrimage going on.

Because this is what Kanye West is all about, in his endless quest for more fame, I truly see him wanted to buy the house of the King, But, it is a little bit odd when you think about it: Elvis himself, his parents and his grandmother are all buried inside the 14-acre property… would Kanye be ready to buy a small cemetery?
