All you need to do is rustle up funds for charity in the most flamboyant way. Earn enough and you win big with all proceeds going to the ‘Unite The United” foundation. The Unite the United Foundation is a nonprofit organization, which was launched by Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, and donates funds directly to grassroots charities.
Funds from this campaign will go to MusiCares, TRUTH and Keep A Breast Foundation. Kevin Lyman is a God, he pulls off this amazing tour every year and always jams the day full of ‘do good’ organizations exposing these rocker kids to the world of selfless giving and awareness. That’s why Warped Tour is not just music, its a business plan for life. Dance, mingle and do good- easy as pie.
What do you get if you win? Well its called “the ultimate Vans Warped Tour best day ever fan experience.” Along with a flight to San Antonio for the Aug. 3 stop, the top fan fundraiser will receive hotel accommodations and transportation to the venue. The winner (and a friend) will get to hang out on the side stage to watch their favorite Warped band perform. And the meet-and-greet isn’t the only chance to get up close with the band. The fan and the friend will get to attend the VIP BBQ Experience at the after-show Backstage BBQ with founder Kevin Lyman, the touring artists and crew.
The “silver prize package” will be awarded to the top 10 fans who raise over $1,000 for Unite The United Foundation. The package includes two tickets and VIP passes to the show, seats at the side stage for their favorite Warped band’s performance, and a meet-and-greet with the band.
A Vans Warped Tour 2013 T-shirt will be given to the top 100 fan fundraisers who raise $250 or more.
