Television Lite: April 29th – May 3rd, 2013

IggyPop02IOWAW120611This weeks television offerings are really diverse.  Everything from Blake Shelton to Kesha.  The strangest thing I saw was that Gandhi man, Ben Kingsley is on nearly every day.  He isn't music so he isn't listed here but- wow. That's a wow.

Highlight has to be Johnny Marr on Fallon.  First of all Jimmy Fallon is practically a genius, everything he does is hilarious and I cant imagine a better pick for the Tonight Show.  Of course, I don't watch the Tonight Show but I'm glad he has a nice steady job.  The low light of the week is Iggy and The Stooges on Colbert. Steve Colbert is going to eat him alive. We all saw how he interacted with Morrissey so his chat with Iggy should be epic.  Oh, and I have lost all respect for Mr Pop since his god awful cameo in the John Varvatos edition of luxury car commercial.  How un-punk rock.
