Active Viewin': Concert Picks For Week Of April 28th, 2013

Johnny-MarrSure, the album was the definition of a disappointment and sure, yet again, Morrissey wipes Marrs clock BUT he is one of the greatest guitarists of his generation and he was born to do it live on stage so stop whining and check him out at Music Hall Of Williamsburg on a Friday no less.

Monday – Jim James – Webster Hall – The album hasn’t stood the test of time and James hasn’t killed me live in years and years but he might pull out a goodie in the confines of Webster Hall.

Tuesday – Buster Poindexter – The Cutting Room – Fifteen years later and it will still be hot hot hot.

Wednesday – Boney James – BB Kings – Don’t you worry about a thing when the MOR pretty saxophonist comes to town with his justly respected live show. Sweet stuff.

Thursday – Clutch – T5 – Really hard rocking band this side of metal

Saturday – Rihanna – Barclay Center – A lotta hits to get through here, and show early for ASAP Rocky

Sunday – Peter Tork – Wonder if he will do “Peter Percival Pattersons Pet Pig Porky”?
