We Post Kevin Greenspon’s Email Because It’s Kinda Interesting In An “Oh, That’s How It’s Done” Way

I have been an admirer of Kevin Greenspon and his Bridgetown Records since watching Ckoud Nothinds’ open for Titus and Bowery Ballroom earier this year.
Subsequently I’ve heard No Paws (No Lions) and Kevin himself and loved both.
I got Kevin’s newsletter emailed to me and I am including it here because it is so indicative as to what it takes to maintain a career in the music business.
Finally back and situated from solo tour of the Southwest/Mountain states. Despite being hit by a blizzard in Denver, losing all of my clothes, having to replace gear I’ve had for 10 years that got broken 2 days in, having longtime friends cancel on me, and other weird unfortunate things, this tour was my favorite and most successful by far. Many thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, supported and hung out. Huge special thanks to the people who went the extra mile: James Fella, Daniel Brigman, Brayan Magdaleno, Drew Danburry, Matt Kendall and all of the great Las Vegas pals, and everyone I met in Colorado, especially the amazing kids in Grand Junction, Lauren at Modbo Gallery, Rence in Colorado Springs, and the great people in Fort Collins.
I thought I’d have a few copies of Cloud Nothings’ “Morgan” 7″ left over by the time I came back but like the most of my tour merch, I ran out pretty quickly. I was planning on offering those at a special bundle price when I got home, so apologies to the people who thought I’d have some when I returned.
A fourth edition of the Cloud Nothings album is currently being assembled, and expect re-issues of other sold out releases such as Vehicle Blues soon!
Here are some things that I have very few copies left of after tour:
Cloud Nothings “Turning On” CD (2 copies of 3rd edition)
Kevin Greenspon “Bracing” CD (2 copies)
Kevin Greenspon “Corridor” cassette (10 copies)

If you want us to play with your band, in your city, house, art space, or venue you book at, or if you have ANY suggestions for those things or people to get in touch with, email me! I am always down to travel off of the beaten path and play in small towns that others may skip over.
Thanks, hope you’re well,
Kevin”
