After reading in Alternative Press about one man alternative pop band, Jordan Witzigreuter, who records by the name The Ready Set, I swore I’d never, ever, ever listen to them. Too…generic. Didn’t have time.
Well when I saw the video for “Love Like Woe” I realized The Ready Set is anything but generic.
It’s borderline pop, but with a few clever vocal selections and beats it keeps on pushing through as a fun, alternative thrill. The song is addicting with smoothly displayed vocals. Keeping it from being too boring or like everyone else is the mix of computerized voice, a different type of melody, and satisfying lyrics.
The video consists of zombies, partying, and dancing around. What’s not to love? The Ready Set seem like one big party…so why not join it?
