Prince Jackson, 16, Your New Entertainment Tonight Correspondent

I wonder how he got the job? With no previous experience? I am being ironic of course because who wouldn’t want to hire Michael Jackson’s progeny? Prince Jackson is gonna be Entertainment Tonight special correspondent as the CBS show announced it on Monday. Oh well, we don’t know much more than that, but let’s ponder a minute. He is the son of the King of Pop and he wants to become Ryan Seacrest? That’s pretty disappointing, I don’t see why the media are saying he is following his father’s footsteps, it’s like being Stanley Kubrick’s offspring and ending up cleaning up the camera,… Prince will be interviewing celebrities instead of being a celebrity!

For his first gig, Prince interviewed James Franco, Zach Braff and Sam Raimi from the upcoming film ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ – Oz? This seems to be the dream interview for a Jackson – and ET Correspondent Brooke Anderson told that ‘he was wise beyond his years’. That’s very good to hear, and this is such a mystery to me how these children looked so well balanced, when they grew up in such a fucked-up environment with a huge media scrutiny, no mother and a father’s erratic behavior.

‘I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor’, he declared to ET. And I have no problem with that, but this is a little strange when we think about the life these children were having when their father was alive: they were always hidden behind a veil when they were walking outside, and now he is having this very public life? Jackson must be rolling in his Forest Lawn crypt!

But above everything, he is only 16 years old, he should be at school, studying and preparing his future,… or may be the family is that desperate to cash on the children? It’s not as if child labor was a premiere for the Jacksons.
