Hey now this could be horrible or this could be fun depending on what type of mood I am in when they come around.
The Go Go's 30th Anniversary Tour?
hmmm… They look like the PTA. I will say that I prefer this grown up look rather then they try to look 20 again… as so many others are doing. Nice one girls!
I saw the Go Go's open for INXS at the New Haven Colosseum, not sure what year that was but the place was empty and my date and I hiked all the way up to the rafters for privacy. Just checked ,that was 1984.
So here we are back on the road with the "Ladies Gone Wild' Tour. Yeah I'm thinking theres not much wild left but then again they weren't really wild even in the height of their career.
But they were fun.
And I can clearly remember dancing around with my 'square' friends to songs like "Our Lips Are Sealed" while drinking cheap booze out of the bottle. Ahh memories,
Yet they don't translate well now.
For that same carefree fun in adulthood you appear a pathetic stuck in a rut in mom jeans. Not I.
But if the timing is right Id go check it out if only to compare the ravages of time with them. If you recall this farewell was supposed to happen last summer but guitarist Jane Weilden injured a knee while hiking.. which is a hell of alot hipper than breaking a hip while coming down the sidewalk I suppose.

that's the one I would go to.. if I were to go.
