Kindliness is Next to Poppiness
Kindliness is Next to Poppiness

1. Who Do You Love – Kindness – Featuring Robyn which figures since Robyn is the Rick Ross of Swedish pop, when in need of some form of legitimacy, you go with her. This is an excellent song and Kindness doesn’t really need the kindness of Robyns! – B+

2. High Dive – Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness – Andrew is a talented fellow, but this is minor indie pop – B

3. Good Good – Florida Georgia Line – Where do they manufacture these hooks? Are they cheaper by the dozen? – D+

4. Seal Me With A Kiss – Jesse J, De la Soul – This is probably the best song on the album, it is where her pop culpability and hip hop cupidity meet, the “let’s go” segue from the rap to the pop hook is money in the bank. And she has a terrific voice. Oh, yeah, that is in fact de la Soul – A

5. Gently – You+Me – Some people are where they should be, P!nk certainly is and this is not what she needs to be doing, a blah folk Americana snooze – C

6. Flashed Junk Mind – Milky Chance – catchy as hell EDM pop – B+

7. Desequilibrio – Kaay – Busiest song on the album is also the best Latin America pop around – B+

8. Cosmic Vibrations – Garage psychedelia – B-

9. This is The Last Time – Stars – nicy glammy rock sound – B

10. Ribcage – Mary Lambert – A very good song off a very iffy album, and it can’t all be Angel Haze – B+
