1. Gimme A Feelin’ – Ace Frehley – This is so over the top it is funny in a Kiss sort of way, a lambasting rifaramadingdong with a touch of Simpson’s like parody… not intentionally of course, “gimme a feelin’ because you’re on my mind…” I see, I’d love to be in the meeting where they brainstorm the lurics – C-
2. The Line – Phish – The opening track off the excellent new album is a little too fidgety for my tastes – B
3. Thinking Out Loud – Ed Sheeran – The best song off the new album is a straightforward love song and a very very good one – A
4. Like A River Runs – Bleachers – the second one and not as strong but I am beginning to really regret missing him at Governors Ball because the drums really gallops – B+
5. Kiss Me Kiss Me – 5 Seconds of Summer – Not bad, catchy and sweet and very 1D – B-
6. Illuminate (feat Kendrick Lamar) – Ab Soul – With the album round the corner, this is a hard rapping raver – B+
7. Devotion To A Dream – Phish – Phish can’t do this very often but when they get a song right they can play circles round a melody – A
8. Sex Drive – Kitten – Alyson Camus says they are great live. They better be – C
9. Byebye, Big Ocean (The End) – A Sunny Day In Glasgow – Excellent big blast of melodic sound – A-
10. Airwaves – GusGus – Still not crazy about the album but this is a moody masterclass in electronica – B
