dreadlocked in

1. Easy To Love – Maxi Priest – He should have joined UB40 for good but since he didn’t this will have to do and the title track of his first album in eight years holds up as a lively little Reggae love song. And you can dance do it – B+

2. Homicide – CSeetheram’ron – Cam’ron lacks threat but he makes up for it in flowthough he is at his best at his most easygoing (listen to SDE), which this isn’t. But it is still pretty competent – B

3. Same Damn Life – Seether – Maybe it isn’t Seether’s fault, maybe this is a sound that has nothing left to offer the world; a by the numbers classic rock meets grunge – C+

4. Simple Twist Of Fate – Levon Helm Band – The dylan classic as a croaked out waltz – B+

5. If There Is Room To Move, ThingsMove – Every Time I Die – Makes me appreciate Fucked Up more – B-

6. Equanity – Tricky D – It’s like playing Table Pong in a supper lounge – C

7. Afterglow – Air Dubai – Ho hum  pop  electonic hip hop – C

8. The Mood Is Right – Matthewdavid – Once was fun, twice and it’s already getting old –  C+

9. Ride Slow – Ab-Soul – With Danny Brown, it’s like they’ve OD on cough syrup only to discover they aren’t really hallucinating, they’re just got a bad cough – B+

10. Gimme Something Good – Ryan Adams – Putting your name to a generic blues track won’t make it any less generic – C
