– Shrug –  Christina Grimmie – “The Voice” third runner up last year got herself sign and dropped by Island Records, though this pure pop EDM track, whistle a major hook, is an annoyance, except the middle eight is an excellent deconstructed piece of weirdness. It could break her – B

– Classic Man (Remix) – Jidenna – This track has a better Kendrick verse than “Bad Blood” though not convinced about the song – C+

– Cha Cha – D.R.A.M. – This song by Dominican rapper DRAM, is a mix of Latin American and Cha Cha rhythms, completely addictive, it is in the process of taking off… I could live with this as the song of the summer but I don’t think I’m gonna get it – B+

– Cool For The Summer – Demi Lovato – I could absolutely live with this as the song of the summer, but it doesn’t appear to be happening… don’t tell your mother – A-

– A Pair Of Blue Eyes – Titus Andronicus – I guess Patrick got over the Pogues dissing him (Spider: “He is being silly, I was gonna see them when they played New Orleans”), not much to add here, he just Titus’d it – B

– True Love Will Find You In The End – Wilco – Gorgeous take, nice little shift in the drums, great keyboards – B+

– True Love Will Find You In The End – Daniel Johnston – Sounds like Neil Young in a great way – A

– Jack U Off – Prince – From back when he did those kinda things – A

– Got To Get You Into My Life – Daniel Johnston – Superb piano cover, I just absolutely worship this track – A

– Softly And Tenderly – Daniel Johnston – One last track off the excellent 1990 – A
