Sam-Hunt-Montevallo

– House Party – Sam Hunt – Was it me who spent years dissing new country? Actually, yes it is. I don’t like the manufactured pop sound in country. I don’t like it here too much either. But if I am gonna be dragged this is the way to drag me down, catchy dribble – B

– XO – Kelsea Ballerini – This is the new Taylor Swift??? What does that make Caroline Kole? This is nothing special country – C+

– Love Me Like You Mean It – Kelsea Ballerini – This is closer though not enough, country pop, and the production ain’t great, but very catchy. It should’ve broken pop – B+

– Fight Song – Rachel Platten – Feel good song for idiots – C-

– The Night Is Still Young – Nicki Minaj – I certainly hope Dej Loaf can save us from this – C+

– Me U And Hennessy – Dej Loaf and Lil Wayne – Great slow jam – B+

– Only Love – Shaggy, Pitbull – Lousy anthem – C-

– Your Type – Carly Rae Jepsen – Here is a question for Rolling Stone, why bother interviewing the likes of Carly Rae, if you are gonna not tell your readers that of the five songs already dropped off her newbie five of them are bad EDM pop? – C

– Blank Space – Taylor Swift – Every time I listen to Tay, I admire her more. Compared to anybody else performing pop, she is on a whole other level – A+
