Saturday – Norma Jean Wright – The call of the weekend has never been more enticing than on this Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers composed ode to the middle of the weekend, part of an album where the Chic stalwarts decided to use just one singer, to varying degrees of success, though this one is very good – B+

2. I Was Born This Way – Jimmy Somerville And Craig C – Misses the bounce of the valentinos original, this Gay Pride anthem can withstand most everything, even Lady Gaga. The Bronski Beat boy is in great voice – A-

3. Gecko (Overdrive) – Oliver Heldens, Becky Hill – House dance disco style – B+

4. Good Times – Chic – Disco as the highest art form, it keeps on striking out at the beat – A

5. Kids Again – Example – Calvin Harris discovery finds his inner Avicii – B

6. Budapest – George Ezra -This is has been bubbling at the outer corners of my consciousness for a coupla months, waiting for it to break big so I can been driven completely insane by the hook – B+

7.  That’s The Way (Rough Mix) – Led Zeppelin – So now we know, Zep were secretly folkies – B

8. Shake Rattle Roll – Count Basie – All country touches MIA – A

9. Crazy In Love – Jay Z And Beyonce – I heard Jay Z was secretly gay and here is exhibit A – B

10. Dome Home Girl – The Rolling Stones – The Coasters cover – A
