4. Yeah Yeah – Jackson Browne – It sure feels like a miracle this is as good as any guy to girl song he has ever written. Personally, I thought we were gonna get stuck with an hour of political hammer hitting on the newbie but this ain’t that – A-

6. Yellow Flicker Beat – Lorde – a beautify beat beat beat of poetic channeling with Katniss Everdeen, who doesn’t actually exist – A
7. Barterder – Lady antebellum – I am a sucker for hard drinking songs, and this is a goodie with Hilary drinking till they cut her off – B+
