1. Survivalism – Nine Inch Nails – This Deadmau5 remix works better than anything else on the album, because Deadmau5 has a real song to work with. The drums are all echo and bombast – B+

2. Stronger – Marshia Ambrosius – a major disappointment on this jazz inflected R&B track. Let’s hope there is better somewhere else on the upcoming album -B

3. Blink – Zed’s Dead – Someone in Pleasant EDM track and Perry Farrell doesn’t help at all C-

4. To Love And Die – Jhene Aiko – Drake’s buddy comes up with a goody, a nice torch song – B

5. Now (feat Rye Rye ) – Bassnectar – Rye Rye can rap against house music better than anybody in the business, and his she does it with a terrific house track behind – A

6. You And Me (feat W. Darling) – Bassnectar – could be the dance track of the year – A

7. American Kids – Kenny Chesney – the chorus is okay but the ideas are very very shallow and the song doesn’t pull it out on their businesses – C

8. Hunger Of The Pine – Alt-J – the band does everything they’ve got this dreary mess and it still doesn’t stick… Ps with live band in the world – C

9. I Kissed A Girl – Katy Perry – Oddly enough it sounds heavier today then when it was first released where there was a lightness lost in backstory- B

10. Thinking Out Loud -Ed Sheeran – this song towers above new album and could well become a standard given the right chance – A
