1. Drown With The Monster – White Lung – Eight years into their career, the Canadian punk back have an air of professionalism and they just can’t shake it however much they try. The guitar? That ain’t three chords, that’s some Middle Eastern vibes going on – B+
2. Pyjamarama – Roxy Music – the three little licks that take you out of the song are as indelible as anything in the middle – A+
3. Fake I.D. – Cerebral Ballzy – Sounds like Richard Hell And The Voidoids – A-
4. Back In The World – David Gray – The trick with David is, appearances notwithstanding, remembering he has a lot of Jackson Browne in him – A-
5. I Met Her On The Train – Ronnie Earl And The Broadcasters – Presleyish instrumental rockabilly, sounds like “My Baby Left Me” – B+
6. Minuet – Rob Moose, Chris Thile – Bach ginger picked on acoustic guitar – B+
7. Palace – The Antlers – A little on the studious side though the horn solo is sweet – B
8. Wicked Little Town – Neil Patrick Harris – Best song in the show, and quite credible out of context
9. Sports – Dennis Miller – Best line? The Spurs hitting 3s lke bill Clinton when there are no 4s available –B
