1. Handy – “Weird Al” Yankovic – “I’ve got 99 Problems but a switch ain’t one…” Weird Al’s take on Iggy Azalea’s hit places him as the handy man and it is funny… up to a point. The problem with Al is there is nothing underneath making the rock star cool mundane. It lacks resonance – B+
2. (I’d Rather Be ) Anywhere But Here – Honeyblood – This is an indie rock take on SoCal goth Best Coast-y take and quite catchy – B
3. A Place To Call Home – Big Wreck – Prog rock hard riffs wall of guitars for seven plus pretty swell minutes – B
4. Long Time Coming – John Hiatt – “I’ve been living my life like a lonesome whistling blowing…” . Blowing being the operative word – C+
5. Tacky – “Weird Al” Yankovic – Yeah, funny but I’m sick of the song – C+
6. Stronger – Marsha Ambrosius – Arty rhythm and blues, works OK – B
7. Ghosts – Laura Welsh – One of the stronger voices out there, think Florence Welch – B
8. Like A Fool – Kiera Knightly – This is absolutely dreadful -D+
9. The Great Die-Off – Rise Above – About as catchy as they ever get – B+
10. My Life – Little Daylight – sounds like it is waiting for someone to rearrange it for Ariana Grande – B-
