2 – Genie In The Bottle – Christina Aguillara – With Nellie, TLC ,and NKOTB touring together, I’m reminded of seeing Christina opening for TLC and giving a well song, audience friendly she couldn’t do today if her life depended on it … circa this song – A-
3 – Streets Of Your Town – The Go-Betweens – I can hear why this influential proto-indie band remain so respected. They’re catchy – B
4 – Pennag Dag – Asgeir – Icelandic for I’m not Bjork” but at least you can whistle my tunes – B
5 – Clap Your Hands – Whilp and Misky – This is a fun click clack of a track – B
6 – Nobody Knows My troubles – Ryan Bingham – Maybe it’s his name that bugged me? I gotta say this song sounds awful good right now – A
7 – Love Is A Bad Dream – Derek Grant – Album track masquerading as a single from the Alkaline trio guy, sounds like indie rock – B-
8 – Dots & Lines – Lupe Fiasco – That’s some hook there, not one of those dark suckers. Finally, a song that doesn’t sound like it was raided from RZA’s PC – B+
9 – Fireflies – Lights & Motion – Ambient music for the lightheaded – B
10 – Salad Days – Mac Marco – Demo version but not really – B
