Men In Black Glasses

Men In Black Glasses

1. Ancient Ways – Interpol – A nice stirring of the pot roiling and reeling sound by a band I have never liked in the slightest but have pulled off a pretty good little ambient rocker – B

2. Animals – Maroon 5 – OK this is getting a little old about now – C+

3. Right On Track – The Griswolds – This is the Wombats might sound if there tongue was less firmly in their cheek – B+

4. Highlife – Brad Paisley – This is somewhat on the moldy side for country boys – B-

5. On The Ground – Rubblebucket – Nice sound, kinda uniquely quietly something in verses and knockout chorus – B+

6. Trouble In Your Blood – Robyn Hitchcock – Bewitching melody and harmonies – B

7. Jackson – Cymbals Eat Guitars – Nice sound boils up from room temparture – B+

8. Chapter Four – Avenged Sevenfold – Sometimes it is impossible to find something interesting to say about a band – C+

9. My Favorite Thing – Kem, Ronald Isley – Flourishing sould sizzler – B+

10. I Can’t Pretend – The Drum – They’ve changed a touch too much here – C+
