1. Almost Was Good Enough – Bro.Stephens And Jim James – This is one of the best songs of the year, a melodic piece of deep depression dressed up like a dirge with an astounding guitar reslessling its way through it till it feed backs out and enters the solo – A

2. Waterfall – Fear Of  Men – Why am I trying so hard to like this band? Why don’t I just get on with my life? – C+

3. Sukiyaki – Peter Stampfel – There are worlds of difference between Peter whistling and Jack Johnson whistling. Despite its title, this sounds like a Western track, yee haw – A

4. You Should Be Able To Feel It – The Whigs – Excellent alt rocker – A

5. Shot Reverse Shot – Jack Johnson –  Just mellow out man, it’s only a song – D+

6. Heavy Seas Of Love – Damon Albarn – Stupendously terrible – D+

7. Come Up Man – G. Love And special Sauce – It sounds like Jack Johnson with a better rhythm section – C-

8. Dude (feat Curren$y) – Asher Roth – The same old brooding Asher despite the song name – B

9. Drink – Semi Precious Weapons – Disappointing by the numbers dance by a guy who promised a lot more – C+

10 Sticky – Teen – Another song of the week, lives right up to its name – B+
