1 – Yeah! – Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Ludacris  – While this was a huge hit for Usher, as was the album Confession, it heralded the end of Usher as great black hope, heir to Michael Jackson’s crown, it crossed over, yes, but only to a white audience that loved black r&b – A

2 – If I Ain’t Got You – Alicia Keyes – Alicia arrives and while Dylan was saying “you know what’s wrong with her? Nothing”, he wasn’t discusssing this drek – D+

3 – This Love – Maroon 5 – Adam begins the inevitable realisation that there is more money in pop than rock – B-

4 – The Way You Move – Outkast, Sleepy Brown – Off their White Album – B

5 – Naughty Girl – Beyonce – Samples “Love To Love You Baby” -that’s called salting the mine – B

6 – Second Hand Heart – Dwight Yaokam – Very strong 80s style rocker, with a steady rock, a tasty lick and a clever chorus. Awesome – A

7 – Jesus Walks – Kanye West – The year College Dropout was released, Kweezy was the kid brother showing up at every gig, selling this cut, which deserved the hard sell – A

8 – Drop It Like Its Hard – Snoop Dogg And Pharrell – The difference between these guys in 2004 and 2015 is the beats – B+

9 – Going Out Like That – Reba McIntire – Break up song, she ain’t going out like – B+

10 – What A Friend We Have In Jesus – Amy Grant – Obvious except it isn’t, the finger picked intro is something special – B+
