1 – Tom’s Diner – Giorgio Moroder with Britney Spears – The Suzanne Vega track with a hook to die for is given a full blown disco work over, including a Moroder spoken interlude and a Britney heavily vocoded vocal. Terrific but the song was always a goodie – A-

2 – Tom’s Diner – Suzanne Vega –  A terrific song, this is as catchy as it can be – A

3 – (Get A) Grip (On Yourself) – The Stranglers – Terrific song about having a rock band – A

4 – No More Heroes – The Stranglers – Made the move from long haired metal hippies to UK punks with this song – A

5 – Peaches – The Stranglers – SEXIST PIGS, “now there goes a girl and a half…” For better or worse, this is how guys think about girls, “Is she trying to get out of that clitoris? Liberation for women, that’s what I preach….”. The organ sounds like Ray Manzarek – A

6 – Nice N’ Sleazy – The Stranglers –  Man, fourth classic lick in a row – A-

7 – Till We Start To Kiss – Kat Edmonson – She wrote this terrific song herself, just a pretty, saucy, anticipation song – A

8 – Sun Came Out When I Met You, Son – Daytrippers – A lovely love song with a crtain stroppiness – A-

9 –  Blank Space – Taylor Swift – Six months in and it is still the song to beat – A+

10 – Black Lake – Bjork – I can’t wait to see her again after last March’s superb set. This ten minute song is so strangely moving and disturbed it is operatic without being strenuous – A
