When Did I Stop Loving You, When Did You Stop Loving Me – Marvin Gaye – From one of the greatest little know albums of all time, Gaye’s contact obligated last record to his ex-wife’s brother, stands as the most adult of divorce albums and this jazz freaked torturous broken up song is a flat out monumental masterpiece – A+
2. Life For Me – Lily Allen – The intro sounds like Paul Simon circa Rhymin’ Simon and the lilted honesty is adult love with warts and all – B+
3. A Place With No name – Michael Jackson – He was goofing on the old America song and the tapes were rearranged into a song – D+
4. Change Your Life – Iggy Azealea, T.I. – One great rapper, one average rapper. Guess which is which – C+
5. Sexy Socialite – Chromeo – A minor but not entirely negligible disco track – B
6. Red Wine – Marshall Crenshaw – Takes awhile to reveal itself, but this is a sublimely constructed blues song – A-
7. From Here To The Moon And Back – Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson – Willie takes the lead, Dolly sings back up. Very slow but not without its charms – B-
8. Who Do You – Lily Allen – A bonus track off the newbie lacks the usual bounce – C+
9. G.U.Y. – Lady Gaga – Not classic but the “touch me touch me please retweet” line is – B
10. Wedding day – Courtney Love – Well, I believe she wrote it herself because it harkens to Pretty On The Inside and not Live Through This – C-
