2. Shabba – A$AP Ferg – Ferg came on like an elder statesman of cool NYE, except when he asked for a towel after this song – A-

3. Fuckin’ Problem – A$AP Rocky – Imagine, if you will, fields of A$APs rapping this at the same time, will it survive?

4. Waiting All Night (feat Ella Eyre) – Rudimental – This is their soulful masterpiece and may I just say I expected i to do better in the States, this is as good as anything Disclosure released – A

6. A Little Respect – Erasure – Gives New Irder a run for their money, this is a masterwork of synth pop with a hook as big as the world – A

7. Teenagers In Heat – Holy Ghost! – Is it even worth mentioning there wasn’t a chance in hell the song could live up to its name? Still, it is pretty damn catchy any way – B+

8. Free – Rudimental – Emile Sande gives her all on this modern disco soul EDM UK branch track – A-

9. Not A Bad Thing – Justin Timberlake – It should’ve been even bigger than it as, a bad song name hurt – A

10. Only One (feat Paul McCartney) – Kanye West – West connects his late mother to his young daughter, McCartney adds backup vocals for extra sweetness and a hint of the Mother Mary – B
