2. Every Other Freckle – alt j -I saw these guys at Governors Ball two years ago and they were terrible, but this is the thrd excellent song off their upcoming album, maybe the best one so far, a soulful electronic piece of rock – A

4. My Heaven My Rules – Peter Escott – wonderful piano based composition – A
5. Lights On – FKA twigs – A conceptual variant on Beyonce’s “xo” awash in sounds and delicate strong desires, a masterpiece of sorts – A
6. Rime – Black Wine – Sounds like a grungy punk thrash party with a very good screamer – B+
7. Show Me The way (feat Aloe Blacc) – Dilated Peoples – Underground rap posse make their pop move – B+
8. Let Your Thoughts Fly Away – Dilated Peoples – All samples but the vocals sound like they were recorded and then scratched – B+
9. My Best Girl – Lucero – Man, does Ben Nichols have a great voice for this stuff – B+
10. Make A Fool Of Me All Night – Sinead o’Connor – One of the best songs on the newbie is a bonus track, which sys a lot about quality control – A-
