Gardening mental breakdown
Gardening mental breakdown

1. Avant Gardener – Courtney Barnett – Quite a year for chick singer songwriter with, how you say, forth right attitudes. This has been around since last summer and she sounds like Violent Femmes meets Lou Reed -(I know, I know) – B+

2. Our Time – Lily Allen – Best song off the newbie and “it’s 2am somewhere, is about as funny a comment as I’ve heard this year – A

3. Longer Than You’ve Been Alive – Old 97’s – Now this is fabulous stuff and the album is nearly as good – A

4. The Satellites – Eno Hyde – Not bad electronic pop music by two experts – B

5. Child’s Play – SZA – Featuring Chance The Rapper, who is a wonder on this sweet, lovely electronic ballad by an excellent new singer – A

6. Highway 61 Revisited – Johnny Winter – Johnny’s voice may be a little annoying but it also a little weird and makes you heard the song freshly, the guitar licks are like endless pns of power – A-

7.  Chemical World (Reworked) – We get rid of “Intermission” – A

8. Somebody More Like You – Nickel Creek – I see what people like about them, this is tasteful like a less emotional the Civil Wars, and I do like the chick singer, the guy is my problem – B-

9. Ghost World – Aimee Mann – For all of us watching our lives waste away – A+

10. The Mother We Share – CHVRCHES – Poppy and smart, no wonder it broke em – B+
